Sustainability Economic Production Quantity with Warm-Up Function for a Defective Production System

Inventory management seeks to improve manufacturing by contracting inventory costs in a similar fashion raise efficiency and profit. One approach is develop models according actual production systems. Furthermore, governmental policies many countries impose regulations on firms fulfill the growing demand for reduction carbon emissions. Warm-up familiar concept industrial applications. It allows system work at higher level of productivity efficiency, as well decreasing number defective items maintenance costs. Along with fewer poor-quality items, has less waste scrap entering environment also requires energy workload focus reworking. The economic quantity (EPQ) problems warm-up an input parameter have been studied few works recently. This paper proposes production-inventory model which considers period decision variable investigates its impact total cost. rate linear function related period’s length. takes into account emission tax policy. main aim this research jointly optimize both length cycle order minimize cost and, therefore, reduce emitted comparison prices effect proper amount emissions are discussed sensitivity analysis.
